S. J. CAMPBELL

Hi, my name is S. J. Campbell and I am the author of five novels and a collection of short stories. I am from Ayr in Scotland and moved to the West Midlands in 2002, proudly retaining my accent.

 

My hobbies include shouting at Arsenal on the television, reading and films. My favourite colour is black, my favourite band is The Smiths, my favourite actor is Laurence Olivier and actress is Vivien Leigh. I watch The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, The US Office, Grey's Anatomy, This is England. I appear to be a TV addict.

 

In between watching all this telly, I try to write. I think about the things that matter to me and that are interesting and I try to put these into stories. I am not interested in writing the mundane. I want characters to love, characters who make mistakes and characters that will have you rooting for them. 

 

My goal is to keep writing and reach the kind of readers who appreciate what I do.
